For independent restaurants

Your WhatsApp takes the order. Nobody has to type it out.

Customers already message your restaurant to order. Ordo answers instantly — shows the menu, takes quantities, captures the delivery address and location pin, then hands your staff a finished order.

Keep your existing number. You carry on using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone — Ordo works alongside it.

Taking orders by hand costs you more than you think

Most restaurants already have a WhatsApp number. Someone has to sit behind it.

  • The messages come when you're busiest

Orders land at eight in the evening — exactly when the kitchen can't spare anyone to sit and type replies.

  • The order lives in a chat thread

A missed item, the wrong quantity, an address sent as a voice note. Someone has to read the whole thread back and key it in again.

  • You only take orders while someone's watching

After closing, or during a staff break, messages sit unanswered — and the customer orders from someone else.

Four steps, and almost all of them are ours

You do not configure anything. We set Ordo up for you and hand it over working.

  1. 1

    Send us your menu

However you already have it — a list, a spreadsheet, a photo of the printed menu. We build your item list, codes and prices.

  2. 2

    Connect your number

Sign up, log in with Facebook, and enter your WhatsApp number. That is the whole of your side of the setup.

  3. 3

    Customers message you as usual

Same number on your signboard and your listings. Nothing to announce, no app for them to download.

  4. 4

    Finished orders arrive

Your staff get a WhatsApp alert with the items, totals, address and a map pin. Every order is recorded in your spreadsheet.

What Ordo does

Ordo is built for one job — taking delivery orders — and it does that job completely.

  • Takes the entire order

Menu search, quantities, a running cart with subtotal and delivery fee, then a confirmation. The customer can add more, remove an item, empty the cart or cancel — all by typing.

  • Finds the dish however they type it

Full name, part of a name, a local nickname you've listed as an alias, or the item code. Too many matches and it shows a numbered shortlist they can page through.

  • Location pin and written address

Ordo asks for the WhatsApp location pin first, then the flat or villa, building, street and landmark. Your driver gets a Google Maps link, not a voice note.

  • Your staff get an instant alert

A WhatsApp message to whoever runs the kitchen: order number, customer name and phone, every line item, the totals, the address and the map link.

  • Every order in a spreadsheet

Orders, individual items and a daily order log land in a Google Sheet you can open on any phone. No new dashboard to learn, no export button to find.

  • Opens and closes with your kitchen

Set your days and hours — including a closing time after midnight — and Ordo replies politely when you're shut. Slammed? Pause orders with your own message until you're ready.

No AI. Nothing is guessed.

Ordo follows fixed rules, not a language model. It cannot invent a dish you don't sell, quote a price you didn't set, or promise something you can't deliver. Every price and every item comes straight from your own list — so the reply a customer gets is the reply you'd have typed yourself.

Questions restaurant owners ask

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep the number your customers already have — the one on your signboard and your listings. Ordo connects to it using WhatsApp Coexistence, which means you also carry on using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone as normal. You can still read the chats and step in yourself whenever you want.

Is this an official WhatsApp integration?

Yes. Ordo runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform. You authorise the connection yourself, on Meta's own consent screen, by logging in with Facebook — we never ask for your WhatsApp password, and we never sign in as you. Ordo is not an unofficial add-on or a modified WhatsApp app, so your number is not at risk of being banned for using it.

What happens to my customers' data?

It stays yours. Ordo records what it needs to complete an order — the customer's WhatsApp number and name, what they ordered, and the delivery address and location pin they sent — into your own order spreadsheet. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it to advertise to your customers, and we do not share your customer list with other restaurants. Anyone can ask for their data to be deleted; see how to request deletion and our privacy policy.

Does it use AI? Will it say something strange to my customer?

No AI is involved. Ordo follows fixed rules and a fixed set of replies, so it behaves the same way every time. It cannot invent a dish, misquote a price or make a promise on your behalf — everything it says about your menu comes from the item list you gave us.

What happens when I'm closed, or too busy to cook?

Ordo knows your working days and hours — including a closing time after midnight — and tells customers politely when you're shut, along with when you open next. If the kitchen is overwhelmed you can pause orders immediately with your own message, and switch back on when you're ready.

Can my customers pay online?

Not yet. Every order Ordo takes is cash on delivery, and the confirmation tells the customer so. There is no card payment, wallet or online payment step today.

Which languages does it work in?

Ordo speaks to your customers in English. Your dish names are whatever you call them, and we can list local nicknames as aliases — so if your customers ask for "biriyani", "biryani" or your own house name for it, they all find the right item. If you need Ordo to reply in another language, ask us before you commit and we'll tell you honestly whether we can do it.

What do you need from me to set it up?

Your menu with prices, your opening days and hours, your delivery fee and minimum order if you have one, and the number your kitchen should get order alerts on. Then you connect your WhatsApp number on our connect page — sign up, log in with Facebook, enter the number. We do everything else.

See it working, then decide

We'll show you Ordo taking a real order on WhatsApp, with a menu like yours. If it fits your restaurant, we'll set it up. If it doesn't, no hard feelings.
